Securiguard is currently looking for Security Supervisor for a High Profile Corporate Commercial Tower in Downtown Toronto. As a security supervisor, you will contribute to manage a team as well as the safety and security of customers and all other stakeholders. Are you a licensed security professional with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of tenant and staff? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a licensed security supervisor who embodies qualities of patience, compassion, and empathy to lead our security team in ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year security supervisory experience Minimum 3 years security experience Strong communication skills Customer service skills Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certificate Must be physically fit and able to stand, sit or walk for extended periods Ability to handle multiple situations and use sound judgment to handle emergency situations Must be knowledgeable on various systems including but not limited to CCTV various types, elevators, mechanical alarms, intercom systems, fire and life safety systems, control room systems Must be able to provide coaching, training, for new and existing staff Previous scheduling experience for the site guards. Organized with the ability to keep track of staff training records, expiry dates and book for training when required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations Basic computer skills, and the ability to write and compile reports on computer software in a timely manner Previous security experience in healthcare industry would be an asset Police Foundations, Community Justice Services or Law Enforcement Diploma would be an asset Employee Perks We Offer: Award winning corporate culture - Canada's Most Admired Corporate Culture 2021!
