JOB SUMMARY : The MRO Buyer is responsible for but not limited to: project management of the entire Request for Quote (RFQ) process, including the negotiation and purchase of assigned commodities for a multi-facility operation. The MRO Buyer is also responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of duties and responsibilities as outlined below in accordance with AGS' cultural priorities. The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list. The scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands and other considerations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Support each facility's purchasing requirements through: Developing and issuing RFQ packages Negotiation and award of contracts Comprehensive Analysis of Vendors in order to determine final recommendation, which is to be based on sound decision-making that aligns with the project scope and facility needs Independently prepare and orally present final recommendation to Senior Management and Ownership Mediate all disputes between suppliers and A.
