Tiercon is seeking knowledgeable, self-directed, experienced and hardworking individuals interested in the automotive industry as a Shipping Coordinator at our 352 Arvin Ave. Stoney Creek facility. Job Summary & Reporting Structure: Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Shipping Coordinator is responsible for daily shipping coordination. Coordinate activities, training and process improvement of the Shipping/Receiving Department and it's staff. Ensure accurate and timely shipments to and from Customers and Suppliers. This includes working with a material handler to pick and label orders to customer specification, warehouse organization, receiving material, Inventory reconciliation and backing up Shipping Supervisor as required. Responsibilities: Responsible for picking, labeling and staging orders Ensure the correct part is shipped on time Send electronic ASNs on time Liase with customers, suppliers and logistics companies as required Cycle count finished goods and maintain accuracy Report discrepancies to appropriate departments Ensure warehouse is kept organized and tidy Back up Shipping Supervisor from time to time Rotating Shifts Support/Involvement in Physical Inventory Receive and validate incoming material Enter receipts on time in QAD Liase with Materials Coordinator on shipping requirements Oversee Care Operator and Dock drivers Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Community College Diploma or equivalent Demonstrated working knowledge of MS office, QAD and asset Minimum 3 years experience in a Manufacturing environment Experience in a Just.
