The Structured Risk and Funds Financing Team manages global portfolio of Non-Bank Financial Institutions including Regulated funds, Canadian Pension Funds, CCPs, select Broker / Dealers, Subscription finance, CLO Warehouses, ABLs amongst other products. As part of the team, you will have responsibility to lead the team and backss the risk of the portfolio and credit risk appetite of Structured Credit Risk and Funds Financing team. Job Responsibilities: As a Director you will provide guidance to Senior Managers and Managers and will: Lead the team and partner with various stakeholders to adjudicate on specific credits within the risk framework of the Bank’s policies under personal limits and escalate over limit/out of policy proposals to the Vice President/Senior Vice President and appropriate Credit Committees. Maintain oversight of covered industries within the Bank's risk appetite, and keep up-to-date on industry developments and best practices. Liaise with the business and assist functions independently as part of the credit review and adjudication process. Contribute to the quality of the loan and trading portfolios through: Undertaking analysis of credit applications and providing recommendations; Monitoring the timely review of all applications and submissions and ensuring the accuracy thereof; Ensuring, where appropriate, documentation adequately protects the Bank’s interest; Ensuring the accuracy of data in various databases and reports; and Developing and maintaining extensive base of industry knowledge. Authorization of credits within the delegated limits jointly with appropriate banking counterpart, while following to the Banks’ underwriting guidelines.
