Safeguarding Social Worker Safeguarding Social Worker Worcestershire County Council are looking for a skilled Children's Safeguarding Social Worker to join their team in Worcester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a local authority rated Good by Ofsted, where children are at the heart of everything they do. The Role As a Qualified Social Worker you will work with children who are subject to child protection plans, supporting families to address identified worries. You will be responsible for undertaking parenting and risk backssments to inform future planning and timescales. You will also initiate care proceedings when necessary and be part of a team that prides itself on adhering to the 26-week timescale in proceedings, ensuring children secure permanence promptly with appropriate plans. The Company Within their Safeguarding teams, you will be well supported by a Specialist Family Support team and a multi-disciplinary team consisting of substance abuse workers, domestic violence workers and emotional health and wellbeing workers.
