About the Organization Senior Resource Association (SRA) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides services to support and advocate for independence and dignity of older adults throughout Indian River County. Our organization was established in 1974 to provide services and programs that promote an active, healthy, and independent lifestyle for older adults. We provide and manage the Meals on Wheels of Indian River County programs, Adult DayAway programs, In-Home Services, and Transportation for seniors and their families. With two locations in Vero Beach and Sebastian, SRA operates the only state-licensed Adult DayAway programs in the County. Our goal is to keep seniors healthy and in their own homes for as long as safely possible. Due to memory loss, brain injury, food-insecurity, and/or lack of socialization, all families have a special need for their loved one that leads them to Senior Resource Association. SRA is recognized as the lead agency in Indian River County for homebound and community-based services for seniors and adults aged 18 and older.In addition, SRA is the county-designated public transportation provider. Our fixed-route buses provide service along 15 routes throughout Indian River County, and part of St. Lucie County. Primary Function: Responsible for analyzing financial data and assisting VP of Finance, CFO with trend forecasting, variance monitoring, grant reporting requirements, and assist in the budgeting process. Additionally, this person will be creating internal financial reports for management and assist CFO/ VP of Senior Services with Board of Director reports. Principal Responsibilities: Work directly with CFO/ VP of Senior Services on various planning exercises, such as forecasting and budgeting. Work directly with CFO/ VP of Senior Services in creating Grant budgets. Work directly with CFO/ VP of Senior Services with Grant reporting. Print all monthly reports for management and board of directors. Assist in monthly reporting by analyzing trends and variances related to revenue and expenses and compare the data to reconciled transactions. Work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting Work directly with CFO/ VP of Senior Services to identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools Skills/Qualifications: Software – Financial - Blackbaud preferred MS Office required Strong proficiency in Excel required MS Teams or equivalent required Strong Organizational ability Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work hybrid/remotely and independent with limited oversight Proven ability to achieve deadlines consistently Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent accounting experience required Two years minimum of general accounting experience required
