Position Summary: The Operation Supervisor is responsible for developing, planning, guiding, and controlling plant activities associated with the managing of inventory flow through all operations. The Operation Supervisor is responsible for logistics and warehousing operation processes for supporting in/outbound operations successfully and safely. Essential Functions: (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.) Supervise attendance/work instruction (Safety check/logistics equipment/ process of Receiving/Feeding/calling from the container yard) for material Handlers(hourly). Monitor logistics automation process regarding repackage area and Material feeding status. (Material shortage and overstock status) Ensure that all parts arrive for the Production Line on time. Monitor raw material counting for supporting daily inventory audits. Work closely with subcontractor supervisors to find ways to reduce inventory management issues in the BSA SV warehouse. Responsible for overseeing FIFO/OS&D/Hot part alarm management physically. Oversees all dock activity, including live load and unloading, and dropped shipments. Performs all personnel reviews and makes any recommendations needed for performance improvement or disciplinary action to be taken. Inspection with the management of returnable dunnage. Assist in ensuring all inventory hold locations are properly allocated, and visually identified. Investigate incidents to determine cause and countermeasures in order to process chargeback claims to responsible parties. Training of all team members (SOPs, training sheets, one-point lessons, etc.) Maintain 5'S in assigned area. (Support the 5S process to make sure all warehousing issues are resolved in a timely manner.) Responsible for shop floor continuous improvement Operational knowledge of the SAP(ERP) and MES(Manufacture Execution System) Overview systems. Managing and supporting layout change projects with subcontractors. Report all warehouse issues and requirements. Other duties as described by Material Manager Supervisory Responsibilities : Yes Basic Qualifications: (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.) Preferred Education & Experience: 2~5 years of experience in Just in time management field in the logistics industry Experienced in the logistics field Back-up reservation logistics manager Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Bachelor's degree with 2 years of supervisory experience, or equivalent experience & education. Proven leadership capabilities preferred. Ability to teach and lead team regarding process improvements, new techniques, or updated procedures. Familiar with part sequencing, kiting, barcoding, and the importance of safe material handling principles. Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Above-average mechanical aptitude and analytical skills. Knowledge of SAP or the PAB process is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None required Working Conditions: Floor office setting, some walking and standing within and between buildings.
