We are Invenergy.Job DescriptionPosition OverviewThe O&M Technician will be a Team player performing operations, maintenance, and craft technical support to achieve safe, cost-effective, and environmentally acceptable operation and maintenance of all equipment at the Hardee Power Station.Responsibilities * The O&M Technician will be a team player performing operations, maintenance and technical support to achieve safe, cost effective operation and maintenance of the Lackawanna Energy Center. * Operate the facility during start-up, shutdown, normal and emergency conditions in accordance with operating procedures and instructions to maintain a safe and efficient operation. * Maintain and trouble-shoot mechanical, electrical and or control systems in a power generation facility. * Perform/direct housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean safe work environment and professional appearance. * Work within and ensure strict adherence to all safety and environmental procedures. * The O&M Technician will work various shifts and be subject to scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent * Education/experience in power plant operations, mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance or instrument and controls. * Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software. * Candidates must be willing and capable of becoming multi-skilled and be part of a self-directed work team in a team environment. * Each employee will perform both operations and maintenance. * Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Requirements * GE Frame 7FA or 7HA experience a plus but not required. * Good verbal and written communications skills.BenefitsEligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), profit sharing, bonus, paid time off, etc.Invenergy LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
