Senior Embedded Software Engineer with excellent experience in C++ embedded software engineering, Real: time embedded applications and ideally high integrity / safety critical software is required by a global consultancy. This is role can be based anywhere in the UK, but you must be prepared to one of their many local offices / client sites at least once a week. You must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years are you need to eligible for SC clearance. (Dont need to hold it currently. Experience required: : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. : Extensive hands: on experience (minimum 3 years) in C/C++ software development for embedded systems. : Profound understanding of real: time software design principles and practices. : Configuring and developing software for Linux or a real time operating system (e. g. Green Hills or Vx Works). : Prior experience working on projects involving high: integrity or safety: critical software. : Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and practices. : Familiarity with software development tools, version control systems, and debugging techniques. : Solid understanding of communication protocols, device drivers, and hardware/software interactions. : Experience with RTOS (Real: Time Operating Systems) is a plus. : They are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the development of ground: breaking products that redefine industry standards.
