Key Information: Analyze contract documents (drawings, specifications, contract deliverables, etc. ) to prepare self perform cost estimates of projects for earthworks (site development, road building, detail excavation). Assemble accurate, timely and well-organized estimates, including hard-bid, construction management and design-build. Hours: Based on a 40-hour work week (8 hours a day, Monday - Friday), with overtime as required. Hourly rate is dependent on experience. Health benefits and vacation pay offered. Job Description: Analyze contract documents (drawings, specifications, contract deliverables, etc. ) to prepare self perform cost estimates of projects for earthworks (site development, road building, detail excavation). Assemble accurate, timely and well-organized estimates, including hard-bid, construction management and design-build. Prepare quantity take offs. Organize sub-contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re-writing binders and assisting the buy-out process. Set-up new cost estimates in bidding software.
