The incumbent is responsible for completing various activities including but not limited to processing payroll, investigating payroll discrepancies, reconciliations, reporting, while staying up-to-date with Employment Standards and collective agreements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior performance in accordance to the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) requirements, anticipate and adapt to change as needed and must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. Responsibilities and Duties Process payroll for over 1000 union, non-union, and hourly employees; Process garnishments and off-cycle payments as needed; Investigate payroll discrepancies & handle T4 related inquiries; Personnel file maintenance (new hires, re-hires, rate changes, personal info changes etc. ) Process terminations and ROE’s: Communicate Time and Attendance errors to Team Lead Maintain & update training portal.
