Franklin Transit Management (FTM) is currently seeking a Part time and Full-time transit bus driver/dispatcher. The schedule for this position is flexible. All full timme employees are offered a 401k with employer match, paid holidays, personal time and sick time. It is preferred that potential employees already have a valid Class B drivers license with passenger endorsement but training for CDL is available on a case by case basis. **Bilingual preferred but not required.Job DescriptionCommunicate effectively with drivers using two-way radio.Interact with passengers to answer any questions pertaining to service.Fill in for drivers occasionally to safely and efficiently operate assigned vehicles on either a fixed-route or paratransit schedule.Requirements:Valid Massachusetts DPU license and a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and no air brakes restriction to be obtained within 9 months of hire (Training available). Valid Class D license for at least 3 years is required.Already possess or have the ability to obtain a Federal DOT Medical Certificate.Applicants must be eligible to work in US without restrictions for any employer at any time; be able to pass a drug screen and background check, including motor vehicle check to DOT standards.Past customer service experience is preferred.Contact InformationFor further information regarding this position, please call: 413-773-XXXX ext. 102.
