Design Engineer West Yorkshire Salary: GBP30:35,000 Full time, permanent Key skills: Design Engineer, Designer, CAD, MMC We are working with a leading provider of quality and innovative MMC building solutions, who have a real passion for design innovation. They are in a period of growth, well: funded, and as such are looking for a Design Engineer who can help take their business forward. As Design Engineer, you will be: Producing designs (both standard and non: standard building types), both general arrangement and design: for: manufacture Managing a library of drawings and bills of materials and maintaining RFI register Working with your colleagues in Production by creating factory, process, and equipment designs and layouts Coordinating projects, prioritising tasks, focusing on objectives Checking and signing: off the work of your design team colleagues About you: Proven commitment to innovative design, driven to build better buildings Ideally at least HNC qualified in either Structural or Mechanical Engineering. Proficient in Auto CAD 2D and 3D CAD software (eg Tekla, Inventor, Revit or similar) Good working knowledge of current drawing practices and standards related to design modeling, connections detailing, and fabrication/assembly drawings is essential Excellent communication and coordination skills and strong organisational skills Able to take initiative, ownership, and responsibility for your work You will also have a valid driving licence and be willing to travel within the UK and abroad when required You can expect a salary of GBP30:35,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits, pension, free parking, career progression, open to offer further study support.
