The salary range for this position is dependent on experience level, ranging from $101,000 to $126,755. This position is hybrid until sept 1st then daily in the office 5/days per week.The Project Manager will manage engineering and construction activitiesduring the pre-construction and construction phases of new projects andduring modifications to existing projects for Avangrid Renewables. TheProject Manager will provide recommendations on costs, schedules andother factors for construction and operations of proposed or existingenergy facilities. He or she will also manage project activities,including budgeted cost and schedule, during the engineering,procurement, and construction phases of Company's projects.Key Responsibilities* Responsible for developing design, procurement andconstruction contracts during project pre-construction phases.* Collaborates with project engineers and construction sitemanagers toensure that project milestones are met safely, on schedule, and withinbudget.* Collaborates in negotiation and management of engineering,procurement, and construction ("EPC") activities.* Works with a team of professionals who provide technicalexpertiseand project support through design, construction, commissioning andoperations.* Provides periodic updates to company management on projectactivities, progress and issues.* Assists with technical due diligence in conjunction with other* Ensures process feedback mechanisms are implemented andutilized for identifying process efficiencies and improvements,including process and functional quality audits, and focusing on Companystrategic initiatives.Required Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management orrelated study.* 5+ years experience in project engineering and constructionof electric generation projects.* 2+ years experience in project development or management.* Demonstrated oral and written communication, effectivenegotiating and dispute resolution skills.* Proficiency using personal computer tools such as Word, Excel,Primavera P3, and Thermo-flow GT Pro/GT Master.* Ability to travel 20%.Preferred Qualifications* A working knowledge of construction law, contracts, claimsavoidance, insurance, and contract administration.Additional Success Factors* Ability to foster and participate in a productive teamenvironment by establishing and maintaining effective workingrelationships with co-workers, managers, customers, contractors, andvendors.* Ability to analyze project risks and proactively identifysolutions with a flexible, creative, and solution-focused outlook onproblem solving.* Maintains effectiveness during procedural/organizationalchanges and when dealing with varying personality styles and tasks.* Effectively provides and receives information orally inindividual and group situations.
