Job Title: Field Service Tech Schedule: 5/2 Schedule. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to climb ladders and stairs. * Walking, bending, stooping is required. * Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including the use of a respirator. * Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms. * Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Job duties: * Perform moderately complex customer support activities, including installations, routine repairs and maintenance of chemical injection pumps and accessories. * Operate and maintain equipment issues used in the production of Oil and Gas. * Monitoring and adjusting pump systems, controlling chemical injection rates, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the production process. * Conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks. * Collect samples using a Draeger pump to assess the quality of the oilfield fluids. * Assemble different parts of manufactured products using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. * Inspect all materials, components, subassemblies, etc. to assure they meet the accepted quality standards. * Install and troubleshoot communication equipment. * Read and follow work instructions, work orders, production drawings and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. * Process and submit customer service transactions such as service tickets accurately. * Provide accurate and timely information regarding availability of in-stock items. * Answer basic inquiries from customers providing basic technical product and applications support. * Work alone and/or under general supervision * Develop good working relationships with customers through frequent and professional written and verbal communication. * Communicate professionally & effectively with customers when delivering both good and bad information. * Know and complies with all safety policies and procedures. * Work unconventional hours and potentially weekends to provide our required level of service on occasion. * Attend work in predictable and regular manner. * Report unsafe acts or conditions to supervision immediately as noticed. Requirements: * Vocational / Technical training or certification, or equivalent experience preferred; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. * Must be willing to work overtime, weekends when requested and holidays as requested. * Experience taking water, gas, & oil samples preferred. * Familiarity with oilfield chemicals, pumps, water pumps, etc. preferred. * Basic knowledge of industrial safety, proper hand and power tool use, and other motorized material movement equipment. * Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel. * Strong Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and various levels of management. * Basic analytical and problem-solving skills. * Must be able to travel away from the shop daily. * Speak, read, and write English fluently. * Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements. * Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, hair follicle, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
