Quality Assurance Supervisor Essential Functions*: * Oversee and manage the quality assurance activities for the organization. * Review and update quality control policies and procedures. * Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. * Coordinate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues. * Conduct quality and safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement. * Analyze data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions. * Train and mentor quality control inspectors and other staff andmaintain employee training records. * Ensure employees are scheduled properly for each shift. * Conduct routine staff meetings with employees. * Maintain quality documentation and records. * Communicate with customers regarding quality issues and resolutions. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency. * Perform required daily and weekly timekeeping activities. * Maintain an understanding of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and all administrative policies pertaining to wage employees, as well as salary employees. * Communicate staffing needs and personnel issues with Quality Manager/Director and Human Resources.Quality Assurance Supervisor Position Requirements*: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Minimum three years' experience in quality assurance or quality control; manufacturing environment preferred. * Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies preferred. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Exceptional leadership skills and ability to lead a large team of employees to achieve continuous process improvements. * Must be able to manage multiple projects, work well under pressure. * Strong problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills required. * Willing to work any shift as directed by leadership. * Proficiency in quality management softwareand Microsoft Office Suite. * This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls if required. * This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. * This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.What's in it for you?While many of our employees have worked at Olin for their entire career, we constantly strive to bring new people with new points of view into the company.
