Practice Area: Product Liability Defense,Litigation - Commercial, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 8 Years, Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Of Counsel to join their team in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will possess a science background, preferably MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology, and 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. Superior research, analytical, and writing skills are essential, along with experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation. Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills are required for success in this role.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence promptly and efficiently.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in physical and sedentary activity, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:J.D. degree.8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 law firm.MD Bar admission.Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience.A science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, or epidemiology) is required.Experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigation preferred.Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus.Strong research, analytical, and writing skills are highly preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Strong project management skills and attention to detail.Education and Certifications:J.D. degree.MD Bar admission.Skills:Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Strong project management skills.Attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal research tools.
