Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial,Product Liability Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 8 Years, Job Overview: A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel with a strong background in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. The ideal candidate will possess superior research, analytical, and writing skills, with a science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) being highly desirable. Experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus. The Litigation Of Counsel will be responsible for providing high-quality legal representation, engaging in effective communication with clients and colleagues, and managing various tasks within the litigation process.Job Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:J.D. degree from a nationally recognized school.8+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 law firm.Admission to the Florida Bar.Direct and applicable experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm.Science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) to be considered.Strong project management skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is advantageous.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Education and Certifications:J.D. degree from a nationally recognized school.Admission to the Florida Bar.8+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 law firm.Skills:Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.Strong project management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in prioritization and multitasking.Strong attention to detail.
