Practice Area: Litigation - Securities Litigation - Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm is seeking a Securities Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in securities litigation for their Costa Mesa, CA location.Job Overview:Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in securities litigation matters.Assist in all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct legal research and analysis related to securities laws and regulations.Participate in case strategy development and client communication.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation matters.Duties:Represent clients in federal and state courts and before regulatory agencies.Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met.Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.Conduct factual investigations and gather evidence.Assist in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar.3-5 years of experience in securities litigation.Strong understanding of securities laws and regulations.Excellent legal research and writing skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the California State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
