Job Description OPENING 2019New Behavioral Health Hospital in Boise, IdahoHaven Behavioral Healthcare is proud to announce the opening of a brand new 72-bed facility located at 2131 S. Bonito Way. This facility will greatly improve access to inpatient behavioral healthcare in the Treasure Valley and surrounding communities.DIRECTOR, CLINICAL SERVICESAnticipated start date - September 2018 POSITION SUMMARY : * Overseesthe operations of the Social Services and Activity Therapy department,including assessment, program development/ implementation and dischargeplanning. * Activelyparticipates in the Performance Improvement and Risk Management programs. * Interpretsaccreditation and regulatory standards and implements processes to ensurecompliance. * Developsand implements goals, policies and protocols. * Providespatient care as outlined in the Social Service staff job description whennecessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the department. * Receivesand responds to call inquiries for potential admissions and generalizedquestions. * Obtainsthe required information to facilitate admissions. * Makes referrals forpersons who are not appropriate for admission. EDUCATION: Master's Degree in Social Work CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES * Fullclinical licensure preferred. * Licensure,as determined by the State, required to complete the essential job functions ofthe position. * CPR/CPICertified per policy. * Current licensure orcertification as required by discipline. EXPERIENCE: * Threeyears program and/or service management experience working with clinicalmultidisciplinary teams.Threeyears clinical experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit with experience withcrisis management or intake preferred. * Fiveyears social work experience with at least one year experience working withbehavioral health populations in an acute care setting. * Clinicaltraining in evidenced-based treatment modalities. * Prior managementexperience.
