As a Principal Technical Project Manager on Microsoft's Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovation team, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative AI solutions that drive productivity for workers. We are looking for someone who is very hands-on, who can figure out new technologies and can work side-by-side with the innovation team. You will be a partner to contribute the final design (based on the problem to be solved) and communication of the solution to internal and external parties. An ideal candidate should have experience as a Technical Program Manamger in the past and be passionate about AI and solving problems in new ways. Successful candidates should have the ability to ramp up quickly on new technologies and adopt solutions within the company or from the Open-Source community. Qualifications: Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, technical program management, product management or software engineering. OR equivalent experience. 3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Additional or Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 8+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos) - Python is ideal. Machine Learning andArtificial Intelligence Demonstrated ability to define and deliver platforms from concept to production Experience partnering with engineering teams to deliver high-impact results. Proficient written and verbal communication/presentation skills at all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical. Solid project management, leadership, and cross-group collaboration skills. Proven ability to prioritize, plan, and execute. Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
