SUMMARY Stampede Ventures Inc, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Mechanic Helper for its equipment fleet in Nome Alaska. The Mechanic Helper will perform various repairs on trucks trailers and equipment in the Nome Fleet in accordance with all manufacturers' recommendations, and company policy.ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned. * Work with the Shop Foreman to repair maintain all equipment in AGC, BSDC, SQI and SVI's fleet and keep it in safe, working order. * Maintain accurate maintenance records of all work done to equipment. * Other Duties as assigned.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Required (Minimum) Qualifications * 3+ years of Mechanical experience working on equipment such as loaders, dozers, excavators, haul trucks and lite duty vehicles.
