Your Opportunity as the Brand Manager, Away From Home The Brand Manager owns the category strategy and sets the direction for the Sales organization to achieve its annual business plans in Away From Home (AFH). Location: Orrville, Corporate Offices Work Arrangements: Hybrid, 30% in office expectations (~6 days per month) In this role you will: Category, Brand, and Product Management Develop and execute the annual and 5-year business plans to increase overall profits for AFH in the assigned categoriesInitiate and apply key market insights to develop product innovations & renovations, product positioning, packaging solutions, and sales & operator programs, and pricingUnderstand the competition and develop our product competitive positioningUtilizing strong project management and communication skills to assemble and motivate cross-functional teams (including Product Development, R&D, sales, finance, regulatory, legal, and supply chain, outside marketing & insights agencies) to achieve business plansServe as Marketing lead for JDE relationship; co-owns development of bi-monthly stewardship meetings with JDEWork collaboratively with the Project Manager to ensure the effective management & execution of the product & packaging commercialization processCoordinate with Retail on joint venture products that require input and influence form AFH. Content and Tactic Development Develop content using agency partners to position our brands and products with customers via B2B advertising and Sales materials Develop content to support brands and products in AFH and collaborate as needed with Channel Commercialization Managers to understand needs and assist with customization of content for specific channelsOwn the digital content for product categories assigned and work collaboratively with Communication Manager, Digital Manager, and others to executeOwn development and execution of other tactics to help drive B2B demand Other Responsibilities Support industry events, Sales meetings, and customer meetings as requiredWork closely with retail partners to understand strategy, share insights, and plan as neededManage and track assigned marketing budgetGather relevant industry insights and trends for both Customers and ConsumersSupport and conduct training for Sales and brokers as neededUp to 20% travel; up to 2 trips to Europe may be required annually The Right Role for You We are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, we play to win, and we believe in a strong community that thrives together. What we are looking for: Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field5 years of experience in CPG Marketing, or Marketing AgencyMust be self-starter and be able to operate in an entrepreneurial environmentAbility to travel up to 20% including International travelAdditional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role: MBAExperience in Foodservice/Away from Home would be beneficial.
