Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with both AP and AR processes, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:- Process vendor invoices and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner- Review and verify invoices, statements, and receipts for accuracy- Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring all payments are made on time- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any payment issues or discrepancies- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices- Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements- Process customer payments and apply them to the appropriate accounts- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies- Assist with month-end closing processes and financial reporting as neededRequirements:- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP)- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredIf you are a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for finance, we encourage you to apply for this AP/AR Clerk position.
