Our busy hotel is looking for a sales coordinator who is unwavering in their dedication to customer satisfaction and providing an exceptional experience for our guests. Responsibilities include responding to guest inquiries, contacting potential new guests based on networking and referral leads, and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks. Our ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills as well as sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. If this sounds like an exciting opportunity, apply now! Responsibilities: • Prepare sales presentations and support materials for prospective customers, such as suitable event space, dining and catering services, hotel bookings, and access to relevant facilities• Perform an initial pitch to a list of business and referral prospects based on your research and networking• Increase revenues by upselling and providing additional amenities and upgrades to customers to ensure they are entirely satisfied• Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests• Manage schedules, file important documents, and communicate relevant information from the sales team to stakeholders and hotel departments Qualifications: • Must have previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry• Stays organized and manage time well• High school diploma or GED, and bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred• Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales• Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively• Must have previous knowledge of Hotel system of ONQ About Company: Just off Magnificent Mile, our suites are adjacent to the John Hancock Center.
