Location: AC Hotel by Marriott Seattle Bellevue/Downtown This position is a full time on-site position. Nights and weekends are required as necessary for hotel operational success. Position Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall daily success of the hotel. Supervises both Department heads and the teams for: Front Desk, F&B, Housekeeping and Engineering Needs the skill set for hiring, terminating, coaching, disciplinary etc. Schedules subordinates, maintaining adequate staffing levels while adhering to labor standards guidelines. Perform accounts payable entry and processing Assures maximum guest service through routine training Ensures compliance with WA State, King County, Marriott and Lodging Dynamics training Maintains accurate records including cash flow sheet, direct bill accounts, credit card receipts, direct bills, and credit cards authorizations. Adheres to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures. Maintains and implements established Emergency Procedures, assuring the security of guests and monies. Requirements: Previous management experience in a hotel necessary Must have strong knowledge of Marriott systems including FOSSE, GXP, Marriott Global Source etc. Skills: Leadership, oral & written communication, customer service, and computer skills Accounting knowledge Attention to detail and organizational ability The perks working for us: People-first culture Travel discounts at hotel partners and franchises Medical, Vision, Dental Benefits, as well as Life and Disability Insurance for Full Time Employees Paid time off: Up to 88 hrs per year for the 1st year through completion of the 4th year of employment, up to 128 hrs per year for the 5th year through completion of the 9th year of employment, and up to 168 hrs per year for the 10th year of employment and thereafter Paid sick leave: for every 30 hrs worked, you will receive one hour of sick pay.
