As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the environmental and energy management systems across the Google Data Centers (GDCs) teams in the region in compliance with the regulatory requirements.Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience 5 years of experience in program management role Environmental/energy management systems experience in the Americas region Preferred qualifications: Experience in North America/South America environmental/energy regulations, environmental incident management, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments Environmental/energy management systems experience in North America/South America Experience in the implementation of the environmental or energy management systems within an organization, with knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or 50001 Outstanding skills and experience in collaboration and relationship-building with cross-functional teams and executive-level stakeholders, and problem solving and project management skills Ability to communicate in Spanish fluently as the role requires communicating with stakeholders in Spanish-speaking countries in the Americas region Responsibilities Establish, implement, promote and maintain a conforming environmental and energy management system (EEMS) aligned to relevant ISO standards, including procedures and associated knowledge database encompassing all GDC operating models Manage conformance, certification, and associated continual improvements against the relevant standards (i.e. ISO 14001; ISO 50001, Energy Star, etc.) by engaging with the relevant stakeholders. Identify and evaluate data center environmental and energy risks for impact to the business. Design/lead programs to mitigate those risks. Support Data Center Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure EEMS compliance and support with regulatory submissions, where applicable. Develop appropriate communications and training/awareness for employees and contractors whose work have impact on the EEMS at the data centers. Requisition #: 125879238508061382pca3lyuhf
