We are seeking two dedicated individuals to support our multi-disciplinary team of officers and police staff. In this role, you will play a crucial part in gathering and developing internet intelligence to aid in strategic planning and risk mitigation efforts related to public order events across the United Kingdom UK. Key Responsibilities: As an Internet Intelligence Investigation Officer, your primary responsibilities will include: Gathering and developing internet intelligence by researching data systems and utilising open and closed intelligence sources. Interrogating technical resources, including national systems, open source platforms, and external databases. Conducting special investigative and speculative searches to support intelligence development. Providing open source intelligence support for thematic pods related to national strategic protest themes and trends. Promoting and enhancing internet intelligence capabilities within the team. Serving as a subject matter expert in internet intelligence and open source research. Preparing complex evidential " internet intelligence" products and presenting findings as required. Essential Skills: To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: Excellent knowledge of computer operating systems. Advanced Internet Intelligence training.
