They are actively seeking an Assistant Accountant. With a successful track record, our client has cultivated a growing portfolio of clients. This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious candidate eager to establish a strong foothold within the media sector. Key Responsibilities: Produce and distribute reporting packs Allocation of costs – calculating chargebacks dependent on contract Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L and Balance Sheet variance analysis Month end preparation and posting of prepayments, accruals and other relevant journals, with full Trial balance review Monthly Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations Supporting the budgeting & forecasting with analysis on actuals Produce weekly Cash Flow forecasts Responding to queries promptly Key experience/skills required: -Experience in month end process and production of Management Accounts and MIPossess or be working towards a finance qualification Advanced MS Excel Skills – ability to manipulate large amounts of data using formulainteractioncellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent time management, ability to prioritise, hit deadlines and possess good organisational skills Analytical, methodical, driven and motivated with a good problem-solving skills and a great work ethic.
