Permanent – 37.5 Hours per week We have a fantastic opportunity for an Internal Auditor to join our team in Lovell’s central services based out of Tamworth, Staffordshire, with national travel. Working with our Head of Audit, you will deliver independent assurance over the effectiveness of Lovell’s risk management, governance and control processes. You will facilitate continuous improvement and help the business remain complaint with applicable laws and regulations. As an ambassador within the business, you will help drive an ethical culture, encouraging others to ‘do the right thing’ at all times. You will work well under pressure, achieving individual audit timeframes and the overall annual audit plan. With experience of undertaking internal audits in the construction industry and on individual construction projects, ideally housing development, you will be able to put into practice the IIA Standards and Code of Ethics. Knowledge of and/or experience of auditing cost and value reporting on construction projects is highly desirable. Self-sufficient in all aspects of the audit process, planning audits, undertaking testing/fieldwork, arranging meetings to feedback findings, and utilising your effective report writing skills. Above all, you will have good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel along with an understanding of COINS, Corestream, Anaplan and CRM. We are keen to hear from candidates with a variety of skills sets including quantity surveyors, internal auditors and accountants.
