Due to growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join the HR team at Stannah. This role will be based in the North East. As the HR Advisor, you will be working at the heart of a family-run business within the Stannah Management Services division which provides a support function to all our internal client groups. In your role as an HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in helping us to achieve this. You will work closely with all Management across the business, assisting line managers to understand and implement company policies and procedures. Guiding and empowering our Line Managers to directly manage ER cases where appropriate. You will also be involved in project work which would involve training managers to effectively manage performance and absences. You will be able to establish and maintain influential relationships with relevant stakeholders within the Group, always ensuring excellent quality and coverage of HR support. To be successful in this role you will have experience advising on a range of employment areas in an HR generalist position. Experience in a fast-paced multi-site environment is essential. Knowledge of a manufacturing or engineering environment would be desirable. You will be CIPD qualified or working towards Level 5 or equivalent. You will be able to demonstrate how you’ve advised and supported managers through, sometimes complex, employee relation issues to reach a resolution. You will be confident in your knowledge and interpretation of employment law (including TUPE transfers) and comfortable to challenge. The successful candidate will support client groups in the North East of England. You must hold a full driving licence to be able to travel across the UK to support multiple sites.
