In this permanent post as HSE Contractor Manager, you will be overseeing a large number of suppliers conducting work on site, including construction-type activities, as well as chemical plant maintenance activities. To maintain their status as a market leader within the sector, this manufacturer has ambitious but stable expansion and investment strategies over the next 5-10 years in which this individual as HSE Contractor Manager will be key to delivering and facilitating. Responsibilities of the HSE Contractor Manager; Assist with pre-qualification process. Review RAMS to ensure compliance with company standards. Support pre task risk backssments and emergency plans for high-risk activities such as work at height or confined space entry. Support Permit to Work Pt W Issuers, Acceptors and Task Performers with permit arrangements and practical arrangements such as equipment availability. Conduct daily checks, PTW audits and scheduled audits. Run a regular liaison meeting to enable sharing of best practices, learnings from incidents. Ensure accurate reporting of hours. Conduct reviews. To be successful in this position as HSE Contractor Manager, you will have NEBOSH Diploma in Occupation Safety or equivalent.
