Job Title: In House Legal Counsel Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Package: 27,000 - 30,000 AED per month, plus benefits I'm currently supporting a very well known hospitality brand, who are quickly establishing themselves across the wider GCC region. They own a number of casual dining concepts across the UAE, and they are now looking for an In House Legal Counsel who will be able to provide clear, effective, and pragmatic legal support to the company and it’s Business Leadership Team. You will be reporting directing into the CCO and you will essentially be responsible for providing end to end commercial advise and contractual documentation to support the business in its operations and ambitious expansion plans. Due to the urgency of the requirement, preference will be given to those candidates already based inside of the UAE. Key Responsibilities: Draft, revise and analyze the different legal instruments including but not limited to sales and purchase agreements, distribution agreements, franchise agreements, service agreements, commercial property agreements, sponsorship agreements if any, general and specific terms of any purchases or sales, bank guarantees, standby letters and documentary letters of credit, bank guarantees, internal documents such as memoranda, POA etc. Provide preliminary advice on proposed transactions with respect to confidentiality agreements, structuring, letters of intent & trade restrictions. Responsible for counseling the business operations by offering proactive, professional and competent legal support to internal Key Stakeholders notably but not limited to matters pertaining to Commercial and Corporate Law, laws relevant to the F&B industry, dispute resolution etc. Draft and negotiate simple and complex contracts including but not limited to those related to F&B, NDAs, Confidentiality, Franchise Operations, Outsourcing etc. Offer advise, negotiate and draft documentation in activities related to creation.
