Lab Assistant / Laboratory Assistant Clevedon £21700 Manucomm Recruitment are looking to recruit a Lab Assistant for a leading food /drink manufacturing company at one of their sites based near Bristol. This is an ideal role for someone who is seeking an entry level role within the Food/Drink Industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and will have an interest in Food and flavours as they will be making and creating sample flavours As the Lab Assistant you will be responsible for: - ·Compounding raw materials in lab conditions to make samples for customers ·Maintaining the sample library; making and replenishing stock as required ·Production of samples with accompanying paperwork, to the required timescale, as required by other team members ·Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment ·Replenishing stock of raw materials and packaging, as required The successful Lab Assistant will have / be: ·Competent in using Microsoft Office, including Excel ·GCSE or equivalent at Grade B or above in Maths and English ·Excellent time management skills with a flexible approach to work ·Previous experience working in a laboratory an advantage Lab Assistant Hours: 40 hours per week 8.45 am - 4.45pm Mon- Thurs 8.45am - 4.00pm Friday Salary £21700 rising to 22500 after a successful probation This role may suit a candidate that has worked as a Laboratory Analyst, Laboratory Technician, R&D Technician, QC Technical or a candidate that is a Science Graduate.
