About the Role Bank Childrens and Family Support Worker : Outreach Team Empower Family Group Flexible Working : You get to pick and choose when you want to work Earn from GBP 11.50 to GBP 16 + training and holiday Time and mileage paid for travelling to shifts/assignments. This exciting and flexible role involves working within Empowers highly regarded community outreach team covering Somerset, Devon and Bristol. You will be supporting children, families and carers within the community and in times of crisis, supporting with daily routines, providing mentor support and helping young people and families to work through challenges faced. By joining our bank, you can also choose to work/ cover shifts in our Childrens Homes and support our Foster Carers, too, allowing you to experience a variety of different support roles and times and locations you choose. This role is exciting and varied, you may be helping a baby or family in hospital, conducting supervised contact or supporting a young person build their confidence. If you are looking for a more flexible working pattern, want to earn while you learn, or simply help boost your income for Christmas. or perhaps you are saving up for a holiday, then this is the perfect job for you to do that. You can work hours that fit around your current commitments or even pick up some additional shifts to your main role to earn some extra cash.
