Mobile Mechanical Engineer Southampton Salary £29,000 p/a (OTE £40,000 - £50,000 p/a)We are a nationwide company with nearly 50 years experience specialising in the service and repair of ancillary equipment on commercial and passenger vehicles. As an expanding business we are looking for a talented and resourceful engineer to join our busy team. Your Role: Working 45 hours per week – usual hours will be 08.00 – 18.00 Monday to Friday Covering Bournemouth, Salisbury, Southampton, Basingstoke, Andover and Portsmouth Repair and maintain ancillary equipment including tail lifts and roller shutter doors Attend customer vehicles to backss breakdowns or complete planned service work. Take part in out of hour’s rota. Related service and breakdown reports via electronic devices. Uphold Company Health & Safety procedures Company vehicle provided Our Ideal Candidate: Experience in Mechanical engineering Knowledge of hydraulics/electrics Able to work on own initiative Full UK driving licence Excellent communications skills LOLER qualifications would be a distinct advantage but not essential Why Choose Us?
