We have a new opportunity which has come available for a Finance Manager to join a lovely company based in Caddington, specializing in the global supply of chemicals and petrochemical products to different industries. This role offers the opportunity to work for a fast: growing, dynamic company reporting to the Finance Director. As the Finance Manager you will oversee the day: to: day management of the finance department on a global basis. Key Responsibilities Drive the continuous improvement of end: to: end accounting practices. Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout Review business processes and implement improvements. Manage and coordinate annual internal audit. Arrange preparation and filing of Corporate Tax. Approve 3rd party supplier payments. Execute hedging transactions. VAT and Corporation Tax review and approval. 2nd Level credit control. Issue monthly management reports to bank Essential Skills and Experience Hands on Cash Flow management and Trade Finance. To be a Qualified accountant with experience of working within an SME. Experience of managing and coaching a finance team. Experienced in VAT and Corporate Tax (review and approvals) IT skills, including MS Office. Previous experience of successfully managing a competent finance team. Knowledge of international trade (Within the chemical/ commodity industry is advantageous) Extensive experience of accounting to a technical level. Extensive knowledge of European VAT would be an advantage. A high level of negotiation skills Is firmly required. An ability to remain calm and professional in potentially stressful situations. High attention to detail coupled with process compliance. Financial Modelling. This is a full: time post of 37.5 hours per week (may be required to work additional hours when required for the needs of the business) Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to.
