They have won many industry awards, such as the ‘’Consumer Credit Awards’’ award for ‘Best Personal Loan Provider’ in 2017, 2018,2019 and 2021 and the Lending Awards’ ‘Customer Service Excellence – Alternative Lending’ award in 2019. In addition, they have just won the ‘’Treating Customers Fairly Champion’’ award in the Consumer Credit Awards this year. As a result of continued and successful growth, our client is now recruiting for a Customer Service professional to work in their Underwriting team. The roles primary focus is backssing loan applications in the following ways: Ensuring backssing any documents received and ensuring they are legitimate and meet policy – so an eye for detail and accuracy is essential. Reviewing Bank Statements and Open Banking Reports to be able to accurately calculate key income and expenditure figures and be able to perform an analysis of information received. Occasionally calling customers to discuss the application and request further information/clarification where appropriate. From time to time an Underwriter may assist our Contact Centre, who we work closely with, therefore a passion for customer service and a good telephone manner are important to this role.
