Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opening for an Indirect Category Buyer to join our clients inclusive and collaborative team and offers a contract rate of A GBP 30.00 per hour : Inside IR35 The EAME Indirect Purchasing team you will be working in manages strategic procurement, compliance, and transactional infrastructure. You will deliver procurement excellence to inspire collaboration between the regional purchasing managers and leaders within the facility. To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do: Supporting the delivery of the facilities business objectives while maintaining cost efficient and high: quality supply base. Supplier Development : Identify performance gaps within the supply base specific to the Business Unit and develop improvement plans for the identified gaps. Sourcing : Leading the selection process and commercial negotiation for a variety of strategic indirect services and materials. Operate and maintain the Indirect Purchasing functions, as designed, to meet the defined response time, cost, quality, and lean targets enabling optimal and efficient facility operations. Identify performance gaps within the supply base specific to the Business Unit and develop improvement plans for the identified gaps. for this Buyer role, you will need relevant experience working within a manufacturing purchasing function, specifically a buying focused role. You will also require the following: Professional certification in Purchasing. Confidence in creating reports, databases and presentations within MS Excel, and MS Power Point. Strong data analytical skills. Expert communicator: proficient in building collaborative and trusted partnerships to work across an internal matrix organization and external Supplier network.
