We are currently seeking a skilled and driven individual to join an established organisation as a Buyer. As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely procurement of materials and services for our projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organizations success in a dynamic and international environment. You will report into an experienced and supportive Supply Chain Manager. Responsibilities: Execute orders and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on: time delivery of one or several projects. Develop and implement process improvement plans for vendors to enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on: time delivery, automated invoices, and SAP data cleaning. Proactively identify and address potential risks of supplier delays through regular checks and preventive measures. Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, serving as the main point of contact for commercial activities related to purchasing. Negotiate and handle claims with suppliers that are not covered by Project Purchasing. Contribute to the development of tools and processes needed for efficient procurement and supply management. Issue purchase orders, handle goods receipts, and manage supplier invoices in compliance with procurement processes, procedures, strategies, and agreements. Provide support for inbound deliveries as required. Ensure the timely procurement of all spare parts for projects. Requirements: Strong negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills. MSc or BSc degree in Economics or Engineering. Proven track record in an international environment. Previous experience in procurement or buying roles. Familiarity with supply chain processes and lead times. Strong problem: solving and decision: making abilities. Fluent written and spoken business English. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Self: driven with a proactive approach to taking initiatives. Proficiency in SAP and Office IT tools. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
