Are you a dynamic and driven individual working within Maintenance but with a passion for project Engineering and process improvement Do you possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering Or maybe you have already made the transition into projects but miss the hands on element. If so, this is an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer that you won't want to miss As the Project Engineer you will have the chance to work with diverse clients on a range of projects. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and completing small projects while also identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities. This role demands a hands-on approach and strong leadership skills to ensure the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities: Maintain MS-Project project plans and other project documents. Oversee the management and completion of small projects, providing hands-on guidance throughout. Create technical drawings and documentation, offering support to Contractors or Quality for production or development needs. Participate in project meetings, both at customer premises and internally. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design modifications or new machinery for enhanced performance. Update bills of materials and costing spreadsheets accurately. Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times. The successful Project Engineer: Experience working within a hands on maintenance role Apprenticeship trained Engineer with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering experience Commercial astute and capable of financial project.
