Financial Controller – Catering and Events group Role: Financial Controller Location: South-East Wales hybrid option available Salary: £ 53,000This group is a specialist in leisure, education, and workplace catering, with a wide and strong presence across the UK, is rapidly growing and becoming one of the most creative caterers around. They are seeking a committed and engaged Financial Controller with great numeric knowledge matched by an incredible personality. You will be supported by a small but exceptional finance team. The business is incredibly high volume, and you will have had experience in managing a multi-site P&L of around £10m. Job Description To produce and be responsible for accurate monthly management accounts in line with the required timescales. To oversee the payroll processes and procedures monthly. To help manage the cash flows of the operation, including ensuring appropriate invoicing and credit control procedures are in place and actioned. To help produce weekly forecasts for both output and cash flows and provide financial challenges to operational teams to ensure the accuracy of reporting. To work closely with external auditors for both customers and statutory filings to meet group reporting deadlines and statutory filings. To work with external tax advisors to ensure timely delivery of annual tax returns, VAT submissions and the " Making Tax Digital" process. To develop and coach direct reports to improve overall finance team processing and relationships with the rest of the business. To ensure system usage is accurate and to help develop systems processes within the business, including the full integration of vendor invoice management and project cost accounting. To be a key member of the budget development process To review cost control and cost centre performance with key department management individuals To help analyse cost and margin performance across the company and highlight areas of focus The Successful.
