Position: Production Manager Role Overview: As a Production Manager, your guidance will be crucial in achieving top: tier safety, quality, and efficiency in operations. Collaborating closely with various departments, youll ensure the production process runs smoothly, driving success. Youll develop and implement KPIs, create schedules and manage reports. Responsibilities: Provide clear leadership to ensure performance levels in safety, quality, and efficiency are met. Collaborate with departments to optimise production processes. Establish and monitor KPIs based on SQCDP. Plan and schedule factory operations to meet customer orders. Prepare and present performance reports. Lead, develop, and mentor staff for growth and progression. Manage HR aspects like appraisals, coaching, and disciplinary proceedings. Coordinate with other departments for material availability and updates. Oversee H and S procedures and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant standards. Drive waste reduction initiatives and process improvements. Experience and Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing role. Proficient in health and safety protocols; IOSH qualification preferred. Familiarity with ISO systems and construction/joiner manufacturing is a plus. Strong IT skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Team player with organisational and problem: solving abilities. ILM/CMI.
