The Team The GWMS Online Solutions team is part of the larger Global Wealth Management Technology group in Scotiabank and is primarily responsible for the design and development of digital applications for wealth and brokerage customers. The Role: We are looking for a Delivery Lead, Development who will be working with the team for Wealth management / brokerage digital modernization. The Delivery Lead works with one or multiple teams who are delivering business value to customers. As a Delivery Lead, Development with a strong technical background in software development, you are passionate about Agile methodologies, communication, technical alignments, continuous improvement and coaching to deliver the digital production for customers. Is this role right for you? Your role involves leading a team of front end developers. You should possess strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate and guide team members to achieving their project goals. You should have a strong technical background in Front end development, currently or previously. Your background in Javascript React will help to guide the team, solve technical challenges and make informed decisions. Bring in technical expertise or productive discussions with the already acquired technical skills in the area of software development with Architects and Technical lead. Guide and participate with team to get to educated estimates with the technical background and solution design experience. Work with a team to identify roadmap/feature dependencies and impediments. Being accountable for tracking the dependencies and impediments and removing them to enable the team: surface, track, escalate. Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
