Our client, a Shipping and Logistics company are currently looking for an Export Sea Freight Clerk to join the growing team in East London. As the Export Sea Freight Clerk, day to day duties will involve dealing with companies worldwide, liaising with overseas agents / customers / hauliers, controlling all aspects of Seafreight exports from start to finish and everything in between. You will also be expected to help with deep sea import and short sea. Main duties of the Export Sea Freight Clerk: Ensure all Consignments are loaded onto computer system prior to arrival / departure. Keep customers fully informed of anything which may cause delay to a shipment. Develop constructive relationships with key customers and key suppliers. The successful Export Sea Freight Clerk will have a minimum 3 years Freight Forwarding experience, good operational know: how of export procedures, and excellent customer service skills. We are keen to hear from candidates who have strong Seafreight Export experience.
