HR Consultant Industry: Charity Location: East Wight (flexible working)Hours: to be arranged Days: approximately 3 days per week Duration: approximately 3 months Duties: Conduct a review of current HR Policies, Systems and Processes are compliant with current UK legislation and best practice, Assist the Board and Management in identifying areas for change and improvement in order to enable the development of skills, experience and confidence of line managers, empowering them in turn to, better engage and maximise the potential of their staff and volunteers. Update, amend and where required create a suite of HR documentation in line with legislation, as well as organisational culture and values. This assignment may also go on to undertake a staff survey, assist in the implementation of appraisal processes and development of training plans. Experience: Must have a strong level of Human Resources experience including review and implementation of policies and procedures as well as a thorough knowledge of current UK employment legislation and understanding of best practice. CIPD or other relevant certification or qualifications required. Must be able to work well on own initiative and be outcome driven, with strong principles, a strategic mindset and excellent communication skills. Must have the ability to influence and make informed recommendations, as a well as understanding the importance of being collaborative.
