We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Team. Candidates must have unrestricted right to work, sponsorship is not offered. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will generate and deliver mechanical design solutions for product introduction. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will develop all aspects of mechanical design solutions, to comply with the required standards. We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who is comfortable in producing detailed design documentation to support validation of design solutions. The successful candidate will analyse requirements to define test specifications, and produce technical documentation for production, installation and service in line with safety regulations. Ideal Senior Mechanical Engineers will be experienced in the design, development and testing of mechanical or electro-mechanical systems, which include safety crucial elements. It is essential that as a Senior Mechanical Engineer you are able to produce technical drawings to quality standards creating designs, with an emphasis on assembly. Key Responsibilities: To develop all aspects of mechanical design solutions Produce detailed design documentation to support validation of design solutions Analyse requirements using the DFMEA process to define test specificationinteractionamination of designs using component level DFMEA process Produce technical documentation for production, installation and service Assess the safety of product designs using Product Safety Hazard Analysis process Minimum Qualifications: HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline relevant to mechanical engineering CAD design packages (preferably Solidworks)Company Information: Stannah is a family-owned manufacturing and engineering company.
