This position is responsible for the overseeing and management of design and detailed engineering activities. As well as technical support for industrial electrical equipment and products, including development of electrical drawings for the engineering department. Key Responsibilities: Review technical specifications and prepare drawings, bills of materials, and other engineering documentation Help develop Capital Plan with plant engineering team , ensuring that capital projects are within budget and completed on time Responsible for configuration management and change management requirements Provide technical support, problem solving support, product support, and line optimization support as needed to support plant operations Perform product Hazard Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Safety Analysi s Basic Requirements: Post-secondary degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with a minimum of two years of relevant industrial experiences Working towards or with P lant Eng ineering designation Highly proficient in Auto CAD Mechanical and SOLIDWORKS applications Other Traits: Participate as needed in Kaizen events, and have basic working knowledge of Lean Principles as applicable to engineering and operations departments Knowledge of MRP systems used in manufacturing Able to use Microsoft Office suite Able to work effectively in a team environment with strong interpersonal communication skills Strong problem solving and design skills Join us on this exciting journey of delivering impact, making recommendations, and exploring emerging technologies.
