Are you an Quantity Surveyor looking for your next career opportunity? You will be working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor offering a solutions: focused approach to developing, constructing, and operating large accommodation: based schemes. This covers residential, student accommodation, and care and retirement accommodation based around the West Midlands. As a Quantity Surveyor you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of the projects based in and around Birmingham City Centre. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting accurate cost estimates, budget management, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely cost advice. Analysing contracts, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies. Preparing detailed bills of quantities and tender documents. Evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids and negotiating favourable terms. Monitoring project progress and variations, ensuring alignment with budgetary and contractual requirements. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our cost management processes.
