CNC Programmer/ Setter/ Operator Industry: Manufacturing Location: Newport Hours: 37.5 hours per week (7.30am - 4pm Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 1pm Friday)Days: Monday - Friday Duration: Permanent Duties: Required to programme, set and operate CNC lathes and milling machines, Set and operate of conventional manual milling, grinding and edm, Working to technical specifications/ drawings and schedules, Bespoke and small batch manufacturing, using a variety of materials, Toolmaking, repair and fabrication, Assisting in product and process development, Maintaining equipment, Adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. Experience: Must have a good level of CNC experience including programming, Knowledge of Siemens and Mazek controls are preferred, Prototrak and Heidenhain are also an advantage, however specific programme training can be provided. Must have a good technical aptitude and the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.
